Palace

Palace have been making music together for over a decade. What started out as carefree jam sessions between Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner and Matt Hodges in an airless studio in North London established a DIY ethos that remains intrinsic to the spirit of the band to this day.

In early 2025, Palace took a career leap releasing the Greyhound EP on their own label,

Palace Presents – a collective they’d started in 2016 as a monthly night at The George Tavern in East London, which had quietly grown into something more intentional. A positive and protected space as Leo described it, away from the usual constraints of the music industry.

Kid was released in April 2026, together with the announcement of a 30-date tour of the USA and Canada in the Fall of 2026, culminating in a show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

ā€œKid is about longing for a child an ocean away. It’s the ache we feel for our people when we’re separated from them. It doesn’t feel like a sadness or heaviness, but more an

affirmation of that love, a primal release sung into the sunset as the road flies by.”

The journey from an airless studio in North London to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles is a long one, and by doing things their way, Palace have managed to arrive still recognisably, unmistakably themselves.

Rollo Doherty

After years of touring with his band ISLAND, Rollo took advantage of some time away from the road to explore a new side of his songwriting and sound.

The first chapter saw him writing rain-soaked lo-fi beats in his Hackney bedroom during lockdown.Ā  The result’ – Out My Window’ gained him valuable support and led to invitations to join both Palace and Skinshape on their 2024 UK and European tours.

The second chapter emerged on the road. Rollo began reimagining his existing catalogue for acoustic guitar, loop pedal, and bowed strings, developing the arrangements night after night in front of live audiences. The response was so strong that these versions were later recorded and released as a separate body of work – the ā€˜Strings’ EP

A trip to subtropical North Florida then pushed things further. Joining long-time collaborators The Still Brothers in a shaded suburban studio, Rollo found inspiration in the slow, warm rhythm of life around him. The experience became the foundation for his debut album, a collection of songs shaped by memories of the lazy rhythm of life in the town.

Rollo’s sound is always evolving, collecting stories, experiences, and influences from every corner of the journey.
